- The Borland C++ compilers that I have will compile C, if you ask them nicely...

- I think there is a switch to force the compiler to do _only_ C++, but by
- default, if the file extension is ".c", it will be compiled as C code, and if
- it's ".cpp" it will be treated as C++.
